Raucous afternoon tea events – costumed capers and cups of “char”!
“Thanks so much for entertaining us with the raucous Women of Manchester yesterday – all 9 of us thoroughly enjoyed it and all agreed we’d learnt a lot too!” Jenny -February 2018
How does the afternoon work? Tea, coffee will be ordered…then the cakes, fancies, sandwiches will arrive.
Throughout the afternoon you will be regaled with stories of local women, funny newspaper anecdotes, passionate feisty northern political activists, scientists, writers etc…plus the seedy side of life such as criminal and fallen women or a high class street walker!
The afternoon will be entertaining and informative. It’s a great way to meet new people or catch-up with friends and colleagues.
I utilise various venues; you can join a programmed event or get in touch to discuss a bespoke afternoon for your social gathering. Event lasts between 1.5 to 2 hours.
